What we collect and why

Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to run the store:
- Stripe — processes your payment (card details go to Stripe, never to us)
- CJ Dropshipping and Dropshipzone — our fulfilment partners; they receive your name, delivery address, email, and phone number to ship your order
- Hostinger — hosts our website
- Google — site measurement and advertising tags (see below)
- Newsletter — the self-hosted Newsletter plugin installed on this website; newsletter emails are sent from our own store, not via a third-party provider
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone else.
Transfers abroad: Your order information may be processed outside the United States — our fulfilment partners may route orders through warehouses in other countries, and Stripe processes payments internationally. Our business is operated from Australia.
Cookies and tracking
We use the following on this site:
- WooCommerce/WordPress cookies — keep your cart working and remember your preferences (strictly necessary)
- Google tags — we run Google advertising tags to measure ad performance. These may set advertising cookies on your device. We do not currently run Google Ads campaigns for this store; the tags are used for measurement only. You can opt out of Google’s use of cookies via your browser settings or Google’s ad settings.
- Stripe — loads fraud-prevention tools on checkout pages, which may set cookies
We do not use any other advertising trackers.
Do Not Track
Our site does not currently respond to web-browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How long we keep it
- Order records: 7 years (required for tax and accounting)
- Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe
- Reviews: until you ask us to remove them, or we remove the product
- Browsing/analytics data: up to 26 months, aggregated
If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete everything we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@troveandtwine.com. We will action your request within 30 days.
California residents: We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by California law. To exercise any rights you have under California privacy law, contact us at the email above.
Children
This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Marketing emails
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you marketing emails until you unsubscribe. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and includes our business contact details. We honour unsubscribe requests promptly.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice in a material way, we will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated notice.
